I grew up in Ann Arbor and am a graduate of Huron High School and Denison University. I have worked as an Admissions Counselor at Denison, for a Fortune 500 company as an Operations Manager, and I have worked with small businesses in the A2 area.
I have owned, managed and restored residential and commercial property in Ann Arbor for the past 38 years.
I enjoy getting my hands dirty…my "Habitat-type" construction work has included helping others in South Dakota, North Carolina, Georgia, Louisiana, Tennessee, Missouri, Kentucky, and Michigan.
I am an avid volunteer and over the years have spent time as: Triangle Cooperative Nursery Treasurer and Fundraising Chair; Co-Chair of the Burns Park Run; Co-Chair of the Playground Restoration Committee and room mom at Burns Park Elementary School; PTO volunteer and band parent at Tappan Middle School and Pioneer High School; soccer and baseball coach and team manager; First Congregational Church Senior High School leader, Chair of Church Council, and Co-Chair of the Naomi Tutu Race and Reconciliation weekend; March of Dimes and St. Joe Hospital Circus fundraiser; Habitat for Humanity and Alzheimer's volunteer.
